Position Summary:

Funding Analysts (FAs) work in a fast-paced, communication-centric environment interfacing with sales, senior management, institutional capital sources, and our internal funding department. FAs research, review, and underwrite commercial finance transactions. Duties include financial statement review, business due diligence, and personal credit analysis. FAs also compile and process documentation packages in an efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Research transactions to identify optimal sources of capital and ensure compliance with CFLBC and capital source guidelines

  • Work with external institutional contacts to negotiate transaction approvals

  • Work with clients and institutional capital sources to satisfy credit stipulations and optimize transaction structure

  • Collect, organize, and distribute all required documentation to fund assigned transactions

  • Maintain client information in CFLBC's proprietary client relationship management application

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required - All majors considered; Greek system affiliation a plus

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills required

  • Familiarity with rudimentary finance concepts, formulas and applications preferred

  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast paced environment required

  • Strong oral and written communication skills required

  • Ability to work effectively in a team framework required

  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills required

  • Ability to comply with CFLBC confidentiality guidelines required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer preferred
